For groups of less than four, private guiding rates apply (see "Private Bookings" page) George likes to keep to a maximum number of four clients for these weeks, to enable him to give plenty of personal attention to the participants. This can be very beneficial for some of the more difficult Munros to be found on Skye. (Please also note we take no one under 18 years of age for the Cuillin Munros)

George Yeomans – mountain leading and bushcraft/survival instruction – is built upon over forty years of mountaineering and wildlife watching experience in the United Kingdom and abroad. Since 1995 he has concentrated on the Cuillin Mountains on the Isle of Skye which has enabled this local Cuillin Munro specialist to build up an intimate knowledge of these difficult Scottish Munros and classic scrambling routes. Couple this with a keen interest in natural history and his knowledge and skills as a qualified Bushcraft & Survival Instructor and we hope to expand and enhance your mountain/island days.
The Isle of Skye itself offers a wealth of coastal, fell and mountain walking, with the Cuillin Mountains being the hardest and most Alpine mountain range in the whole of Britain. It also contains some of the most difficult Munros to be found in Scotland. The island and coastline has some fantastic and unique wildlife, which includes otters, sea and golden eagles, red deer, seals, dolphins and whales.
On offer is a range of courses or single day events to suit the needs of the active visitor to the island, plus other mountaineering and instructional courses in Scotland and the UK which includes:
